Origin of the name dates back to an Islamic city called “Bukhara” a capital of Bukhari state, located in the west of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Central Asia, where some of the most famous Islamic cuisine began. Boukhari became recognized in the gulf countries, and was the first official Boukhari restaurant in the State of Qatar in 1998.
